Who watches the...?

In case you didn't know, March 6th sees the worldwide public release of Zack Synder's (of 300 fame) film adaptation of the graphic novel Watchmen, originally created by Alan Moore, also noteable for previous comic book, which was later translated to film, V for Vendetta.

Set in an alternative Nixon's era of America, the plot deals with a group of costumed crimefighters struggling to unravel a growing conspiracy after a mysterious unknown assassin murders one of their colleagues.

An advance screening in Leicester Square has already seen a highly positive review from the Times, which suggests that the previously thought unfilmable novel has crossed over well to the silver screen, leaving fans and newcomers alike with high expectations, although the concern of badly made comic book films in the past still leaves some worried. Either way, it's not unfair to say that a great amount of people are anticipating and cannot wait for March 6th, myself included

The main aim of this blog is to collect and share the latest news about film releases around the country, which i plan to update on a regular basis. I'm aiming for a few good blog posts every couple of days, but due to the demands of coursework, this might vary. Anyway, here's a few of the things to expect whilst scanning my blog...
